It’s Wednesday..
..so it’s what I wore
Floral dress – Primark, black opaques – Marks and Spencer, Sweetie and Sweetie Hearts bracelets – Links of London, cocktail ring – Marks and Spencer, black patent Mary Janes – Office, nails – Razzle Dazzle by Deborah Lippmann
I love this little dress from last winter. It cost next to nothing from a Primark sales rail which is always a bonus but it is just such a lovely shaped dress. It has a fitted top with lovely puff sleeves then a big sticky out full skirt. A proper swishing kind of dress. The best kind of course. I swished my way to breakfast out with Mr Mostly then swished through my chores including cleaning the bathrooms, a mountain of ironing and a trip to the Post Office, such is my glamorous life! Ha!
I picked up these black patent Mary Janes in the Office sale months ago but this is the first time that I have actually worn them. I love love love Mary Janes. They make a nice change from ballet flats and the magpie in me can’t resist anything shiny. I have to say that they are not particularly comfortable despite the fact that they are made from the softest patent leather. They nip like mad around the front but I’m willing to suffer for these babies and I desperately hope that they will get comfier in time.
The cocktail ring was an anniversary present from Mr Mostly last week. It wouldn’t be an anniversary without a bit of sparkle! Or indeed a big bit of sparkle! I absolutely adore it. He might have his many faults but if there is one thing that he does get right, it is super duper amazingly thoughtful presents. I do love that man. I sometimes think he knows my taste better than I do.
So that was me, what have you been wearing this week?
